こちらも更新！ Updated too!

先日は Mac mini を更新したブログをあげましたが、実は ipad も更新しています。

2年と少し前に購入した ipad の第10世代 10.9inch を ipad air 11inch に更新しました。

前の ipad はA14Bionic チップでしたが、今度は M3 チップ。大幅なグレードアップですね。まあ、使い方は絵を描いているだけなので大してパワーは必要ありませんが。

容量はどちらも256MB です。そして、 ipad の更新に伴い Apple Pencil も第一世代から Pro へグレードアップしました。これで充電も本体に貼り付けるだけなので楽になりました。ただ常にフル充電するので ipad のバッテリーの減りは以前より早いです。

使った感じはアプリはサクサク動くし、 Apple Pencil もすごく滑らか！に描けます。大満足ですね。おまけに ipad 本体のサイズはどちらも殆ど同じでしたのでカバーガラスと本体ケースはそのまま再利用して使っています。あまり違和感ありません。

今回も ipad は下取りに出しました。意外と下取り価格は良かったです。アップル製品は結構下取りが良いので、使い切るよりある程度使ったら買い替えするのがおすすめです。Apple Pencil も第一世代は余ってますのでどなたか使いますか？。

The other day I posted a blog about updating my Mac mini, but I've also updated my iPad. I upgraded my iPad from the 10th generation 10.9 inch that I bought a little over two years ago to an iPad Air 11 inch. My previous iPad had an A14 Bionic chip, but this one has an M3 chip. It's a big upgrade. Well, I only use it for drawing, so I don't need much power. Both have a capacity of 256MB. And with the iPad update, I also upgraded my Apple Pencil from the first generation to the Pro. Now it's easier to charge, since I just stick it on the device. However, since I always keep it fully charged, the iPad battery runs out faster than before.

When I use it, the apps run smoothly and the Apple Pencil is very smooth! I'm very satisfied. What's more, the size of both iPads is almost the same, so I've reused the cover glass and the main case. It doesn't feel strange at all. I traded in my iPad again this time, and the trade-in price was surprisingly good. Apple products have a pretty good trade-in rate, so I recommend replacing it after a certain amount of use rather than using it up. I also have a spare first-generation Apple Pencil, does anyone want to use it?
